Will You Marry Me?

What is marriage? I used to think it was something those Christians way back in the day made up. But it wasn't. Think about it. Native Americans were over here marrying each other (maybe not in the traditional sense we think of now-white dress, one bride,honeymoon- but they still had the idea of marriage, and that's what I'm getting at here)while the Europeans were marrying each other without priests being involved at all until the 17th century. It used to just be two families that got together and ate food, then the couple went and had sex, and it was official! I'm serious. So where did this idea come? It developed in totaly remote places all on its own...

And, if it's not originally a Christian idea, then who are we to put restraints on it? Jews eat kosher food and let everyone else eat whatever they want. But we feel the need to make sure people only do as we do. Except we are not very good at following our own example. We're hypocrites.

And another thing: Where do squirrels go when it rains? And don't tell me they just sit there in the trees. Have you ever seen a wet squirrel? They must have a secret hiding place somewhere!

And another thing! When John the Baptist was baptizing people in that river that day, was he baptizing them as Jews or Christians?
